Master these 4 elements and you'll rule your online empire
To rule the world, Avatar Aang has to master the 4 elements: earth, wind, fire and water.
Similarly, when you want to rule your own empire in the online world, there are 4 elements that you need to master.
Have you come across 30-day challenges where they promote to show you how to start an online biz, starting from zero, without a list to sell to, without a reputation, or a product?
What will they teach you?
They will mention at least one of the 4 elements.
I do encourage you to sign up for free challenges even though they have an upsell.
I'm sure you will pick up some tips.
So what are the 4 elements you must master to rule your online empire?
There are the 4Ps:
* Person
* Presence
* Product
* Persuasion
Let's go through each of them.
1. PERSON
I mean YOU, specifically your mindset.
The greatest obstacle to your success is your limiting belief.
If you don't believe in what you are selling and that your sacrifice is going to be worth it, you won't be able to put 100% commitment into your work.
Instead of digging deeper into your business, you start looking for Plan B and then Plan C.
Ask yourself how hungry you are to succeed. What is the price you are willing to pay to move your business forward?
When Elon Mask was asked what encouragement will he give to entrepreneurs, he said that if you need encouragement, don't be an entrepreneur.
What he said is true. You have to be self-motivated. If you have to depend on others to motivate you, then entrepreneurship is not the right career path for you.
Work on yourself first especially your belief system, before you work on your business cos the greatest enemy could be you.
2. PRESENCE.
You got to be present (show your face) to your prospects. When people think of your biz, they think of you.
Another word: dominate your industry.
For beginners, step into a marketplace where buyers and sellers congregate. Example: Amazon, ecommerce sites.
Join other people's forum and be an active participant.
Be social in social media platforms (such as Facebook, Linkedin, Instagram, Tik Tok).
Be clear about your mission and how you can help people. Example: I help <who> achieve <what>
Create your own tribe by setting up an online community. Example: create your own Facebook group
Set up and grow your own email list. You'll hardly find a top marketer without an email list. It is a must. Your email list is your asset. It is the surest way to reach your audience.
Learn how to run paid ads to reach to a cold market.
Sell yourself first before you sell your service, by building the know-like-trust (KLT). If they buy (trust) you, they will buy your service.
3. PRODUCTS
What is important to your market now? Sell the right product to the right people.
Your product could be a physical product, a digital product (eg ebook or ecourse), or a done-for-you service, consultation or training
I preferred selling digital products because they are scalable.
The ideal products are membership subscriptions because they can earn you a recurring income.
In the beginning when you don't have your own products, promote other people's products and service as an affiliate marketer.
Package your product as a no-brainer offer.
4. PERSUASION.
When you have the audience and the offer, what stands between you and their wallet is your persuasion.
Learn how to sell, either through public speaking, copywriting. Enhance it with branding.
When you sign up for an online course, they probably touch on these elements. Master these 4 elements and you will be more successful in your online business.
I want to leave you with a free training by Kenneth Yu, a world-class copywriter and businessman.
